The Location

A new generation of residents are moving to Beaudesert, attracted by the benefits of rural living. New subdivisions are being developed, offering larger land parcels, more affordable housing and a relaxed lifestyle, within a close knit, friendly, community.

 

Council’s Vibrant and Active Towns and Villages initiative is a long-term program set to deliver civic infrastructure improvements to activate public space and enhance the liveability of local communities.

The "New Beaudesert"

The South Western Corridor continues to supply a large proportion of affordable housing to accommodate the growth of the South East Queensland population. Beaudesert is a vital growth corridor in this strategy over the next 20 years.

 

A number of large scale residential development sites have transacted recently in Beaudesert providing quality future land supply for a growing population.

Industrial connectivity via Inland Rail Project

Inland Rail is an important project to Australia's industrial network. Its outcomes are intended to move freight from roads thus easing congestion particularly between the east coast capital cities.

 

There is an opportunity for the Inland Rail to connect at the Precinct adjacent Bromelton, providing connected access to east coast Australia for operators in Beaudesert.
